TT 2006. The best weather in living memory. Records broken. The best racing for years- and good company, thanks to a trip organised by the DOC(GB)'s own spaggy.

great photography! I've added a small selection of shots from the 2006 TT. The pictures are taken using an EOS 350 D and Cannon USM100-300 Zoom lenz.

It worked OK, but this was mainly due to the unusualy bright conditions in 2006, as soon as the sun went in the Focusing system did not work so well.

I have now invested in an IS 100-400 Cannon lenz, which was used for the first time at the Manx GP, and what an improvement it has proved to be!

The EOS body has worked well apart from 1 aspect, only 3 frames per second is a problem, I know it sounds a lot, but I managed to take a set of 6 photographs of a sidecar, out of control with the sidecar going right up into the air and down again twice, all in focus, panning accross as it carreered past us, all in the space of 2 seconds- with the sidecar firmly on the ground in every photo- I can see a proffesional body coming my way to join the lenz very soon!
