The DOC arranged a stand at this event, and many of the members stayed at the Grasmere hotel in Bristol and enjoyed a marvelous meal at an Italian resturaunt in Bristol. We were joined by non other than Giancarlo Falappa, who proved that British traffic and the fact that he was driving a Motorhome made no difference to the racing blood that is running through his veins!

A great time was had by all (well most) and big thanks must go to Fiona Fox and rich llewellin for arranging the weekend. Expensive though, i got through £200 on booze and food!

A word to about the Moto Guzzi club stand is called for. We all felt that the Ditch pump club stand was by far the best stand at the show (a bit "camp"though). The fact they did not get into the top 3 stands has got to be the biggest travesty of justice since OJ got off!

12.00 noon at Fox's diner, UK Monster club meet. Tried to invite the DOC but the list was off line again - nevermind a few DOC members were their as well anyway!

Their was a few bemused looks on some of the faces when they saw my Monster combo, but they were soon cheered up by the site of a foggy rep that had come all the way from Stoke on trent!!!!

It was nice to meet some of my virtual friends from the UK Monster E mail list. From the sound of it CK's hard work towards a Monster weekend is going well, so best book up!
